Hampstead, MD, February 01, 2013 – Breidon, Inc. (“Breidon”) announced today the acquisition of The Bechdon Company (“Bechdon”). Bechdon is a top manufacturer of precision machined products for aerospace, defense, and intelligence community customers.
As a result of the transaction, Bechdon will now be affiliated with Ridge Engineering, Inc. (“Ridge”) through common ownership with Breidon. The two companies will continue to operate independently, with each company leveraging their individual core competencies to generate new opportunities and build increased value for their customers. Bechdon will continue to operate at its location in Upper Marlboro, MD, a facility comprising 53,000 square feet and with more than 90 specialized pieces of machinery that enable its precision machining and fabrication capabilities. All Bechdon employees are being retained post-transaction.
